My Cyno has a Whisker?

Postby DJRansome » Sat Oct 10, 2009 12:56 pm

Looks like a single unshaven whisker attached to the side of his dorsal fin. What could it be? This is a new fish in quarantine.

Got a photo of this? Could it be a small piece of the actual dorsal that got seperated?

The dorsal is intact. I fear a parasite of some kind but I can't find a match in my book. I doubt I could get the angle and focus right to photograph it but I can try.
